Mechanical seals are one of the most efficient ways of sealing rotating shafts, consisting of two lapped faces arranged perpendicular to the axis of the rotating shaft. (This gives rise to the alternative name Radial Face Seal, Pump Seals or Packings.)

One face is fixed to the equipment casing or vessel, while the other is fixed to the shaft and so rotates with it. Frictional heat generation and wear is controlled by maintaining a film of lubricant between the seal faces. As such, mechanical seals resemble thrust bearings.

Single Spring Mechanical Seals are having single spring design to take care of contaminated liquids. Due to open coil spring, it is used for non-clogging and self-cleaning operations.Single Spring Seals are assured for long-term usage and higher resistance to heat & pressure.

Single Spring Seals have very few parts and hence can be easily assembled or dismantled.The seal arrangement does not warrant any modification even in case of conversion from gland packing.Single coil Seals can be offered in Un-balance as well as Balance design to take care of variety of applications.

Cartridge Mechanical Seals are specially designed to handle highly corrosive & abrasive media.Cartridge Seals are balanced and designed in such a way to avoid liquid contact with spring therefore find usage in almost all type of media.

Cartridge Mechanical Seals are Pre-assembled and ready to install on any type of liquids. Such Seals do not require adjustment in fitting due to pre-assembly hence avoid installation problem.Cartridge seals are an attempt to over-come the fitting problems of conventional seals.The cartridge seals unit can overcome several limitations of the standard pump gland.

Split Seals

Split Mechanical Seals are designed for the equipment where dismantling & assembly of the machine is difficult job.

Split seal is a unique design with minimum components for assembling the seal and allow user to install the seal in minimum time.The multi spring design keeps the faces in uniform contact.

The split seal face is balanced,covered with split O-Ring as a sealing member. Slots provided in the housing facilitates fitting the seal on various equipments with different PCDs. In Split Mechanical seals Product leakage across the faces is minimized by maintaining rotor and stator face squareness with a robust, extended rotor assembly.

Agitator Seals

Agitator Mixer Seals are factory assembled cartridge units used on mixtures, agitators and reactor vessels . Agitator mixer seals show good performance in high vacuum conditions.

Slurry Mechanical Seals is Doubled Semi Cartridge Balanced Seal, designed to operate without a flush in tough slurries.The slurry Mechanical seals incorporates a unique non-clogging spring isolated from products.These are specially used for Abrasive media with solid particles.

Slurry Seals are suitable for liquids containing 30-40% Slurry. They are supplied with conical stuffing box and can be used as replacement of Double Seal (back to back arrangement).

Heat Exchanger operates in flushing of seal chamber with reduced temperature and supported by cooling coil.
